Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sr. Manager, Warehouse to foster a safety-first warehouse culture and lead development of warehouse managers and associates. You will ensure safe, accurate, and timely receiving, storage, and outbound loading while upholding security and profitability across the facility.

You will oversee staffing, policy training, and performance coaching, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure compliance with OSHA/HACCP and regulatory requirements. Travel around 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Ability to openly and effectively communicate with all associates/departments within the company.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safety, service, and cost targets in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop Warehouse Managers through coaching and training.
• Oversee and develop all warehouse associates and address performance gaps.
• Maintain efficient workflow and open communication across teams.
• Build high-performing teams and monitor staffing, interviews, and performance.
• Develop production flow processes and cost reduction strategies.
• Identify and stop waste and improve processes for safety and efficiency.
• Approve daily load plans and ensure timelines and weight restrictions.
• Monitor data like inventory losses, production goals, and safety reports.
