Job summary

US Foods seeks a Sr. Manager, Warehouse to drive a safety‑first, cost‑conscious warehouse culture. The role develops warehouse leaders, ensures accurate inbound/outbound flow, and maintains high service levels for customers across our Aurora Plainfield network.

The position emphasizes coaching, policy adherence, and data‑driven decisions to minimize losses and improve efficiency. Onsite work in Illinois with travel as needed and a strong focus on OSHA/HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of warehouse supervision experience.
• Ability to read and interpret operational data.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Warehouse Managers to meet safety, service, and cost targets.
• Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and loading.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and workflow performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with HR for union/contractual matters when applicable.
