Job summary

Stout is seeking a full-time Vice President to lead transaction advisory engagements focusing on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients in Houston. You will guide quality of earnings assessments, working capital analysis, and review of key commitments to deliver clarity and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or related major.
• CPA certification is required or in process.
• 5–6 years of experience in audit and/or financial accounting due diligence, with at least 2 years in due diligence; Big Four preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise analysts and associates to ensure efficient project execution.
• Identify key risks and potential deal breakers during due diligence.
• Analyze income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and operating data.
• Synthesize data and communicate observations and conclusions.
• Produce comprehensive due diligence reports for clients.
• Lead due diligence calls and meetings with client and target management.
• Review audit workpapers to understand policies and procedures.
• Provide insights to purchase agreements and related deal documents.
• Contribute to business development and client proposals.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
