Job summary

Stout seeks a full-time Vice President to lead buy-side and sell-side financial accounting due diligence within the Transaction Advisory practice. You will guide high-stakes engagements, assess earnings quality, working capital, and contingencies, and deliver informed insights to management and advisors throughout the deal lifecycle.

You will supervise analysts, manage multiple projects, and contribute to business development and proposals while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related major.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in audit and/or financial accounting due diligence (with at least 2 years in due diligence). Big Four experience preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Responsibilities

• Supervise analysts and associates to ensure efficient project execution.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, managing multiple projects and tasks.
• Identify key risks and deal breakers during due diligence process.
• Analyze income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and operating data.
• Lead due diligence calls and meetings with client and target company management.
• Produce comprehensive due diligence reports and communicate findings.
