Job summary

Captive Resources, LLC in Itasca, IL is seeking a Business Development professional to execute marketing strategies, contact brokers and clients, identify needs and educate on captive solutions while managing ongoing services.

The role requires extensive out-of-town travel, including proposals, workshops, and board meetings; a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing and at least five years in health insurance business development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing/Sales or related discipline with at least five years in Health Insurance business development and underwriting.
• Experience with employee benefits and/or self-funded medical plans.
• Experience supporting proposal development for brokers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing strategies and initiate contact with existing and potential customers.
• Identify customer needs and educate on captive solutions.
• Manage ongoing services to meet client needs and assist in developing proposals, including pricing and presentations.
• Build long-term client relationships and grow membership in assigned accounts.
• Travel extensively for proposals, workshops, and board meetings.
