Job summary

Captive Resources is seeking an AVP/VP, Captive Executive, Health Solutions in Itasca, IL. The role focuses on consulting with a captive board, driving member growth, and managing broker relationships with travel for workshops and board meetings.

The candidate will create and present captive proposals, price indications, and maintain professional board documentation. A strong business development background in health insurance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in Health Insurance business development or underwriting.
• Experience building captive relationships and presenting to boards is preferred.
• Knowledge of employee benefits and self-funded medical plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Board of Directors on captive strategies and client needs.
• Participate in Board of Directors meetings and broker relationships.
• Support membership growth and manage assigned accounts.
• Lead captive pricing discussions and proposal development.
• Prepare analysis and deliver presentations using PowerPoint.
• Negotiate contracts and summarize outcomes for internal teams.
• Travel for on-site visits, workshops, and board meetings.
