Job summary

Captive-Resource is seeking a senior health insurance business development professional to execute marketing strategies, identify client needs, educate on captive solutions, and manage ongoing services to drive retention and growth.

The role requires extensive travel for proposals, workshops, and board meetings; a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in health insurance are required, with experience in employee benefits and self-funded plans. You will develop proposals and lead client presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing/Sales, or related discipline.
• At least five years of Health Insurance business development and underwriting experience.
• Experience with employee benefits and self-funded medical plans.
• Experience supporting proposals to brokers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute business marketing strategies and initiate contact with clients.
• Identify client needs and educate on captive solutions.
• Develop and facilitate proposals including pricing indications and client presentations.
• Create and nurture long-term client relationships; manage ongoing services.
• Travel extensively for proposals, workshops, and board meetings.
