Job summary

Zurich E&S is seeking a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager for our E&S Property team based in Atlanta with a hybrid work option. You will develop, coach, and manage a regional underwriting staff, drive new business production and portfolio performance, and cultivate broker relationships across the region.

This role requires strong technical underwriting expertise in E&S Property, plus proven people leadership. CPCU and wholesale broker experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years in underwriting, market facing, broker, carrier, or risk management in commercial insurance.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 20+ years in claims or underwriting support within the commercial insurance industry and E&S Property experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach and manage a high-performing regional underwriting staff.
• Oversee regional performance: new business production, policy retention, rate/tiering, and portfolio management.
• Manage regional wholesale broker relationships and underwriter referrals.
