The role emphasizes strong underwriting acumen in E&S Property, leadership, and sales skills, with travel about 25% and a hybrid work arrangement. Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $285,000 plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years in underwriting or risk management within Commercial Insurance.
• Or Bachelor's Degree with 20+ years in claims or underwriting support.
• Experience in E&S Property and 2+ years of people management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and manage a high-performing regional E&S Property underwriting team.
• Drive regional performance: new business, policy retention, rate/tiering, and portfolio actions.
• Manage wholesale broker relationships and underwriter referrals.
• Maintain a small production portfolio to stay attuned with regional market changes.
• Travel as necessary to support the team and broker relationships (about 25%).
