Job summary

Addison Group in Chicago is seeking a Senior Network Engineer specializing in VoIP and Unified Communications to join a hands-on, enterprise-scale team. This onsite role focuses on delivering modernized voice and networking infrastructure, not mere edge phone administration.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of enterprise VoIP experience, strong Avaya or equivalent platform skills, and the ability to troubleshoot challenging issues in a large, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise VoIP/Voice Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Avaya or comparable voice platform experience.
• Strong SIP and VoIP troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of networking and QoS as they relate to voice.
• Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve difficult technical issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
