Job summary

StarTekk is seeking a Senior VoIP/Network Engineer (UCCE preferred) for a 100% onsite role in Atlantic City, NJ. The candidate should have 15+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise voice and network infrastructure, with deep expertise in VoIP technologies and routing architectures.

The role focuses on designing, implementing and optimizing SIP/RTP, call control, and real-time voice networks, while leading complex troubleshooting and network capacity planning.

Qualifications

15+ years hands-on experience in enterprise voice and network infrastructure.
Experience with Cisco contact center technologies (UCCE) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computing or telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Design and architect enterprise VoIP and IP telephony solutions.
Lead implementation of SIP, RTP, and call control protocols.
Troubleshoot voice quality issues including latency, jitter, and loss.
Manage dial plans, call routing, and call flow design.
Architect and manage enterprise networks: routers, switches, firewalls.
Implement TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, VPN for real-time voice.
Support Unified Communications / UCCE environments and integration.
Lead troubleshooting, RCA, and mentor junior engineers.
