Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an IT Network (VoIP) Engineer Lead to design, implement, and support enterprise voice infrastructure across the campus and internet.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee projects related to voice and application technologies. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science and 5+ years of experience with VoIP, PBX, SIP trunking, and vendor management in a complex enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years designing, implementing and supporting voice technologies in a complex enterprise.
• Experience with PBX, VoIP, QoS, voicemail and call accounting.
• Healthcare experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering key voice technology services.
• Develop and manage complex voice and application technology projects.
• Provide supervision and performance feedback to the team.
• Install and manage voice technologies and related software.
• Monitor and report on enterprise voice infrastructure performance.
• Coordinate with vendors; document procedures and standards.
• Maintain on-call support for data center voice equipment.
