Job summary

Global Channel Managementinc in Frisco, TX is seeking a seasoned VoIP System Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in hardware, networking and telephony to design, implement and operate global communications services.

The ideal candidate will work across locations (Charlotte, NC; Broomfield, CO; Frisco, TX; Chicago, IL) in a hybrid setup and bring expertise in AT&T VoIP, Zoom Phone and Avaya VOIP with related SBCs; a BS in Computer Engineering or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with hardware, networking and telephony solutions.
• Locations include Frisco TX, Charlotte NC, Broomfield CO, Chicago IL.
• Hybrid work arrangement.
• Preferred certifications: Zoom Phone, Avaya solutions; DevOps tools: Power Automate, Power BI, Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning, design, implementation, and operation of global communications services.
• Develop and document infrastructure support policies and guidelines.
• Monitor trends and propose future architecture roadmaps.
• Educate and mentor IT staff and provide necessary training.
• Research best practices and act as SME in infrastructure area.
• Collaborate with outsource vendors to drive sound architectures and config templates.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and restore services.

VoIP System Engineer needs 5 years working experience with a broad range of hardware, networking and telephony solution

VoIP System Engineer requires:

• Locations: Charlotte NC, Broomfield CO, Frisco TX, Chicago IL

• Hybrid

• Preferred Certifications: Zoom Phone, Avaya solutions

• Preferred Certifications: DevOps development with Power Automate, Power BI, Ansible.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or related relevant experience

• Required Skill sets: AT&T VoIP, Zoom Phone and Avaya VOIP and ACD, Call Routing, Voice network support services: QoS, DHCP, DNS, 802.1x, SIP/CTI integration to 3rd party systems IPC Networking Sevices, Oracle SBC, AudioCodes SBC, carrier VoIP and IP Toll Free configuration and troubleshooting

• 5 years working experience with a broad range of hardware, networking and telephony solution

VoIP System Engineer duties:

• Strategic planning, design, implementation, and operationalization of all global communications services.

• Develop and document infrastructure support policies and guidelines

• Monitor trends and recommend future architecture strategies and roadmaps

• Educate and mentor IT support staff as needed, including requisite training on technology and governance

• Research and stay current on Infrastructure best practices and function as a subject matter expert in this area

• Work with outsource vendor to drive sound architectures, engineering designs, and configuration templates

• Engage in complex production impacting technical issues and work to troubleshoot and restore service
