Job summary

eScience & Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a highly experienced Voice Systems Engineer to support FAA modernization and lifecycle management of NAS voice communications.

You will work on ATC voice systems, voice switch platforms, IP and VoIP interfaces, and system integration across multiple sites. The role requires 10+ years of engineering experience, a relevant engineering or computer science degree, and the ability to obtain FAA suitability and a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering expertise for modernization and sustainment of FAA ATC voice communications systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop, refine, and analyze technical, operational, and performance requirements for voice systems.
• Evaluate voice switch technologies, networks, and interfaces; perform market research and vendor assessments.
• Support system integration activities involving voice switches, network infrastructure, and supporting applications.
• Produce engineering documentation, test plans, and implementation plans; participate in verification, validation, and deployment activities.
