ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC (AFAR) seeks a System Engineer to join the Voice Communication System (VCS) team supporting the FAA at the WJHTCAA in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. You will help oversee integration, deployment, and monitoring of network management software and hardware, interfacing with 3rd party data streams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a technical field and 2–4 years’ experience, with US citizenship/permits for security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT/EE/CS or related field; US degree equivalency required for non-US degrees.
2–4 years of related work experience in system engineering or similar roles.
U.S. citizenship, Green Card, or valid work authorization required; relocation to Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Hands-on integration of software and hardware components including installation and configuration.
Support IT system solutions for networking, computing, and communications equipment.
Create and review technical documentation for production builds (rack layouts, cable plans, system layouts).
Collaborate with program management, development teams, and field engineers for project success.
Provide remote monitoring, maintenance, and on-site deployment support as needed.
