Job summary

Segra is seeking a Sr. Voice Specialist in Charlotte, NC or Kansas City, MO (Hybrid) to support our Enterprise Sales organization as a trusted technical advisor and product expert.

You will partner with Sales and Sales Engineering across the full sales lifecycle, from discovery through solution design and closing, delivering demos, PoCs, and architecture guidance for Hosted/Cloud Voice, UCaaS, and Contact Center.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Voice/UCaaS/Contact Center in presales or technical role.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, telecommunications, and security concepts.
• Experience with solution design, deployment, and service activation in telecom or cloud.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven success partnering with sales teams to drive engagement and close business.
• Experience creating and delivering presentations, demos, and technical training.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Voice Solutions portfolio (Hosted/Cloud Voice, UCaaS, Contact Center, SIP).
• Lead technical discovery sessions, design scalable solutions, and deliver product demonstrations.
• Support PoC validation, proposal development, and solution positioning.
• Act as trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders aligning with requirements.
• Partner with Sales to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Deliver training and enablement to Sales and Sales Engineering teams.
• Develop technical playbooks, architecture guidance, and competitive positioning materials.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Support to influence roadmap.
