Job summary

Verizon seeks a forward-looking Solution Architect specialized in Customer Experience to modernize how we deliver unified communications and voice security solutions. You will lead end-to-end architecture, collaborate with sales and engineering, and drive revenue outcomes through innovative, AI-enabled digital channels.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, documentation, and customer engagements across the CEx portfolio, with a mobile/work-from-field component and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Four or more years of experience in Architecture design and implementation.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Sales Engineer in the Voice Security space.
• Ability to understand and align solutions with different market segments and audiences.
• Demonstrated expertise in Voice Security (e.g. VIAA, SecureLogix).
• Strong understanding of cloud communications, telephony, SIP, IVR, omnichannel routing, workforce engagement, and customer experience design.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools such as chatbots, virtual agents, and NLU platforms.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in government compliance and contracting

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Voice Security technologies.
• Translate customer business requirements into end-to-end architectures and designs.
• Take designs through Peer Review, SOAR, DLM approval processes.
• Create internal and external documentation for selling motions and hand-off to implementation teams.
• Collaborate with Sellers and account teams to shape sellable and implementable solutions.
• Deliver live demonstrations and technical workshops showcasing capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to align technology with business outcomes.
• Maintain primary area of expertise while broadening knowledge across the CEx portfolio.
