Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of hands-on technical leadership for cloud teams or 14 years with HS diploma/GED.
• 5+ years leading enterprise virtualization or private cloud initiatives preferred.
• Deep VMware Cloud Foundation, SDDC, automation, DR, and governance experience required.
• Strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria Suite, SDDC, IaC, private cloud architecture, DR, capacity planning, and enterprise storage/networking.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms, Kubernetes, public cloud integration, policy-as-code, AIOps, observability, and security/compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of VCF lifecycle management, workload domains, cluster design, self-service infra, monitoring, upgrades, and ITSM/security integrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical leader for VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Define architecture, automation strategy, lifecycle management, and operational standards for the enterprise private cloud.
• Provide guidance for vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria Suite, SDDC operations, and platform modernization.
• Lead VCF strategy, platform engineering, automation, reliability, and mentoring; drive innovation.
• Design and operate large-scale VMware environments, software-defined data centers, and highly regulated infrastructures.
