Job summary

Encore in Kansas City is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge technical leadership and specialist work for events. You will supervise advanced AV systems, resolve issues quickly, and ensure safety and security standards are maintained across all sessions.

You will mentor staff, coordinate pre- and post-event tasks, and manage equipment maintenance and inventory planning to support exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant field.
• Minimum 2+ years field experience in specialty area.
• 2-3 years customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and supervises advanced audiovisual equipment during events.
• Troubleshoots issues and resolves problems quickly.
• Ensures security and safety measures are followed.
• Maintains strong client relationships and communicates effectively.
• Mentors and develops other staff in technical and leadership skills.
