Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge the gap between technical lead and specialist in a hotel/convention center setting. You will oversee pre/during/post event operations, supervise equipment setup and teardown, and ensure safety and security protocols are followed.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with hotel staff and clients, and drive best-in-class service across events while managing inventory and maintenance of AV gear.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in the specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/train requirements within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV equipment.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service and maintain client relationships.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor and coach technicians and staff.
• Event Supervision: supervise other technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: assist with security, storage, and inventory forecasting of equipment.
