Job summary

The role focuses on small general sessions or assisting with larger events, supervising staff, and ensuring flawless AV operations with exceptional customer service. The position requires a bachelor's degree (preferred), 2+ years in a related field, 2–3 years in hospitality or customer service, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• A valid driver’s license is required; DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: ensures setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment.
• Customer Service: provides excellent service and maintains client relationships.
• Training/Staff Development: mentors and coaches staff to develop technical skills.
• Event Supervision: supervises other technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: handles security, storage, transport, and inventory forecasting.
