Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge technical leadership and specialist roles for events. The role focuses on accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of AV systems, while mentoring teammates and ensuring client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of field experience, 2-3 years in customer service or hospitality, and the ability to manage equipment and events in a hotel/convention center setting. This is an onsite hotel environment requiring flexibility for irregular hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field experience in the specialty area.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet training/certification requirements within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot advanced audiovisual equipment during events.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop technical and leadership skills.
• Supervise technicians during events and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with inventory, maintenance, and forecasting of equipment.
