Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge the gap between technical leadership and specialist work in a hotel/convention center setting.

You will oversee advanced AV equipment, ensuring precise setup, operation and breakdown, while delivering top-tier customer service during events. In this role you will mentor staff, supervise technicians on site, manage pre/during/post event activities, and help maintain equipment security and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in the specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains advanced audiovisual equipment, ensuring flawless event setup, operation and breakdown.
• Delivers exceptional customer service, building strong client relationships and coordinating with internal teams.
• Mentors and coaches staff to develop technical skills and leadership abilities.
• Directs technicians during events and oversees pre/during/post event activities to ensure quality delivery.
• Assists with equipment security, maintenance, inventory and forecasting to support operations.
