Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge the gap between technical lead and specialist. You will oversee small general sessions and assist with larger ones, reporting to an Operations Manager or equivalent.

The role emphasizes flawless equipment operation, strong customer service, and hands-on training/mentorship for staff. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 2+ years in related field work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in specialty area required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training requirements per Encore’s Learning Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV equipment.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service and maintain client relationships.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor and coach technical and operations staff.
• Event Supervision: supervise technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: manage security, storage, and maintenance of gear; perform inventory.
