Job summary

ABB is seeking a VFD Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to ABB Customers, the Sales Channel, and Product Management Teams. The role is hybrid in New Berlin, WI and remote in the United States, reporting to the Technical Support Team Lead.

You will help with VFD applications, drive programming, and warranty processes, collaborating with engineering, field service, and product teams while documenting cases in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant electrical/technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives required.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD-related issues.
• Assist with drive programming, parameter configuration, and system integration.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, sales and product teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations with the warranty team.
• Document support cases and solutions using Salesforce and other tools.
• Stay updated on VFD technologies, software updates, and industry trends.
