ABB in the United States seeks a VFD Support Specialist to provide technical help to customers, end users, sales channels, and product teams. You will work on Variable Frequency Drives, 3 phase power, system wiring, and connectivity.

The role is a Hybrid arrangement in New Berlin, WI and remote across the U.S., requiring collaboration with engineering, field service, sales and product teams to resolve complex issues and ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives work (VFDs).
• Strong electrical fundamentals and troubleshooting ability.
• Clear English communication, both verbal and written.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD-related issues.
• Assist customers with drive programming and configuration.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams.
• Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations as needed.
• Document support cases and best practices in Salesforce and other tools.
• Stay current with VFD technologies and industry trends.
