Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Head of Sales for Veterinary to own the largest multi-location deals, from first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. This is an individual contributor role focused on strategic veterinary accounts, with no direct reports and a quota-driven mandate.

You will drive the full cycle on major deals, coordinating with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders. Success means expanding locations and services as groups sign, with deals often spanning

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
