Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.

The role involves deciding whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties and addressing mechanical/electrical issues via telephone with customers in breakdown scenarios. Responsibilities include mentoring Tier 1 staff, providing updates to leadership, and improving customer uptime through proactive problem solving and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Takes ownership of Tier 2 emergency roadside cases.
• Resolve technical problems on Ryder lease/contract vehicles.
• Communicate with customers in breakdown situations to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Assess and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with autonomy.
• Provide follow-ups and escalations with service providers.
• Share updated technical knowledge with the maintenance team.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center team and provide training.
