Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases end-to-end.

You will decide whether to deploy internal technicians or third-party providers, addressing vehicle issues arising from manufacture quality or operational faults. The role requires strong maintenance knowledge and telephonic problem-solving with customers in breakdown situations, plus mentoring Tier 1 staff and providing updates to the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Technical certification or training relevant to maintenance.
• Experience in Ryder operations or similar fleet environments is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide on internal technician dispatch vs. third-party service.
• Resolve technical vehicle issues via telephonic support and troubleshooting.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center staff and provide status updates and training.
