Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Designer, Design Systems to own and evolve the design system powering our suite of digital tax products. You’ll keep components sharp, patterns consistent, and the system scalable as the product grows.

This craft-first role suits a designer who obsessively focuses on token naming, component behavior, documentation clarity, and collaboration with engineers who consume the system.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of product/UX design experience owning or contributing to an enterprise design system.
• Proven track record building, maintaining, and scaling component libraries.
• Solid understanding of how design systems translate into code (HTML/CSS, React).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a library of reusable components in Figma.
• Own token and variable architecture in Figma, aligned with engineering.
• Write and maintain practical documentation for components and patterns.
• Bake accessibility into the system from the ground up (WCAG, ARIA, contrast).
