Job summary
Ryan, LLC is seeking a Senior UX Designer, Design Systems to own and evolve the design system powering our enterprise tax products. You’ll ensure components are sharp, patterns consistent, and the system scalable as the product grows.
This craft-first role emphasizes obsession with token naming, documentation clarity, and collaboration with engineers. You’ll work with designers and product to align patterns with real needs and drive governance across the design system.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of product/UX design, with enterprise design system ownership.
- Proven track record in building and scaling component libraries.
- Experience in financial/enterprise/B2B sectors is a plus.
- Experience with AI tools to accelerate design and research.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a library of reusable components in Figma.
- Own token and variable architecture in Figma and sync with engineering.
- Write practical documentation for components and patterns.
- Integrate accessibility into the system by default (WCAG/ARIA/contrast).
