Ryan, LLC is seeking a Senior UX Designer, Design Systems to own and evolve the design system powering our digital tax products. You’ll ensure components remain sharp, patterns consistent, and the system scalable as the product grows.

This craft-first, IC role rewards attention to token naming, component behavior, and documentation clarity, with close collaboration to engineers and product teams. A strong portfolio showing design-system thinking is required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of product/UX design experience with enterprise design systems.
• Proven track record of building and scaling component libraries.
• Financial, enterprise, or B2B background is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools and processes like Claude, Figma Make, Lovable.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to authority for our design system and maintain standards.
• Educate designers on system usage and governance across the team.
• Collaborate with Engineering to translate design to code with fast feedback.
• Design, build, and maintain a library of reusable components in Figma.
