Job summary

Exelon seeks a utility field project construction manager to lead transmission, substation and distribution projects with cross-functional teams across multiple areas. Budgets range from $250K to $15M.

The role requires CAPM (or to achieve CAPM within two years), strong leadership, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion under tight timeframes, including storms and energy emergencies. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in business or engineering with 4–7 years of PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field with 4–7 years of PM experience, or a high school diploma with 6–9 years of PM experience.
• CAPM certification or be able to achieve CAPM within two years of entry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects and leading teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage conflicting priorities in a multi-task environment.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of transmission, substation, and distribution projects with cross-functional teams.
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope with recovery plans as needed.
• Coordinate requirements with internal/external stakeholders and communicate with sponsors.
• Lead and coach team members to complete tasks on time.
• Identify resources and ensure responsibilities are understood.
