Job summary

Exelon is seeking a utility field project construction manager to lead transmission, substation, and electric distribution projects. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance while coordinating multiple disciplines across operating areas. Projects range from $250K to $15M and may require storm coverage.

The role demands strong collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders, independent judgment, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced utility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field with 4-7 years PM experience
• CAPM or PMP certification is required or achievable within two years
• Strong independent judgment and interpersonal/time management skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee major transmission, substation, distribution projects and initiatives
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope with recovery plans as needed
• Coordinate requirements with internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate project issues to sponsors and executives
• Maintain good relationships across project teams and interfacing orgs
• Coach team members to complete assigned tasks
• Identify and secure project resources
• Clarify responsibilities for all project members
