Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Utility field project construction manager to lead transmission, substation, and electric distribution projects, coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines and operating areas.

You will manage the scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance of multiple projects and programs, guiding teams from business case to closeout with budgets ranging from $250K to $15M, and extended hours for storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• CAPM certification or plan to achieve within two years of entry (PMP will fulfill this requirement).
• Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader including handling conflicting priorities.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Overall project performance for projects including major transmission, substation, electric distribution, construction and organizational initiatives.
• Manage costs, schedule and scope with recovery plans to stay within approved limits.
• Interface with stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
• Communicate with sponsor and key stakeholders at executive level.
