Job summary

The Manitowoc Company is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead all US payroll operations for our diverse set of legal entities and pay groups, serving approximately 1,600 employees through ADP. This role will supervise the payroll team, ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing, and coordinate with HR, Tax, and Fidelity for 401(k) funding.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of multi-state payroll leadership experience.
• Experience with ADP processing and systems.
• Knowledge of 401(k) and Fidelity funding.
• Ability to manage payroll staff and mentor.
• Experience with audits and tax filings.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and processes payroll for all US entities and pay groups.
• Reviews data entry and ADP invoices; ensures accuracy and compliance.
• Handles annual bonuses (STIP/LIP) and 401K funding reconciliations with Fidelity.
• Liaises with HR and vendors; coordinates audits and tax filings.
• Leads payroll audits with internal/external auditors; supports year-end processes.
