Akkar in the US market seeks a senior recruiter to own a Bay Area desk end to end, winning clients, running searches and closing hires. You’ll be one of the most senior billers in the US and will build a team from the floor up.

You’ll work with founders, CTOs and engineering leaders at scaling hardware companies, delivering contingent, retained and contract searches, using AI tooling and market intelligence to stay ahead.

Qualifikationen

• 450k+ annual billings in a 360 recruitment role.
• Experience placing engineers or technical leaders in hardware, deep tech, defense or related market.
• A network you can activate, or the drive to build one fast.
• Commercial judgment: you know which roles to take and which to walk away from.
• Bonus: retained search, contract delivery, or hiring for ITAR-controlled programs.

Aufgaben

• Build and own a US market in a frontier tech niche, from first meeting to signed offer
• Win new accounts with founders, CTOs and engineering leaders at scaling hardware companies
• Work closely with VC's, founders and investors helping them solve the nationwide talent shortage in our physical technology markets.
• Deliver contingent, retained and contract searches for scarce engineering and leadership talent
• Use our proprietary AI tooling and market intelligence to move faster than competitors
• Coach consultants and help shape how we grow in North America
