Job summary

Akkar in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Embedded Talent Partner to join our robotics client as an in-house recruiter. You will own the end-to-end candidate lifecycle, sourcing and engaging top talent aligned with client requirements.

You will apply rigorous screening and competency-based interviewing to produce high-quality shortlists, manage candidate relationships, and help coordinate pre-employment screening and compliance for successful hires.

Qualifications

• Experience in RPO, embedded recruitment or in-house recruitment.
• Experience recruiting for robotics, defense, aerospace and aviation sectors preferred.
• Proven ability to hire for hard-to-fill roles.

The Opportunity:

Akkar is looking for an experienced Embedded Talent Partner to work directly for a Robotics client in the Bay Area as an in-house recruiter.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the end-to-end candidate lifecycle, proactively sourcing and engaging high-quality talent aligned to client requirements.
• Apply strong expertise in candidate sourcing, screening, and competency-based interviewing to ensure quality shortlists.
• Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, from initial outreach to offer stage, including delivering feedback to unsuccessful applicants in a professional manner.
• Effectively qualify and close candidates by aligning expectations on salary, availability, and other key factors such as notice periods and interview timelines.
• Ensure candidates are fully informed and prepared for all client pre-employment screening and compliance requirements.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience working in an RPO, embedded recruitment or in-house recruitment position.
• Experience in working with candidates and clients in the following industry sectors is preferred: Robotics, Defense, Aerospace, and Aviation.
• Experience in hiring for hard-to-fill positions
