Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer in the Phoenix area to lead urban stormwater and related water resources projects. You will guide teams on varied scopes, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality hydraulic analyses and design outcomes.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to business development, and serve as Engineer-of-Record on critical projects while collaborating with clients and regulatory agencies to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, water resources, or environmental engineering and PE eligibility.
• Experience leading water resources projects and teams.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, proposals, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple water resources projects of varying complexity.
• Lead marketing and business development for project opportunities.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record and provide technical leadership.
