Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer in the Environmental Services group to lead stormwater and ecosystem restoration design efforts in Virginia. The role focuses on project leadership, budgeting, and delivery with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and client interaction.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 9+ years of experience, and in-depth knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (SWMM, PondPack, HMS, RAS) and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MS preferred.
• PE licensure required.
• Virginia DEQ Dual Combined Administrator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise project orders and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure conformance with PMF and contractual requirements.
• Develop fee proposals for diverse projects.
• Oversee stormwater design, grading, hydrologic/hydraulic studies, and utilities.
