Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for water and wastewater projects in the Phoenix area. You will lead the design and engineering of electrical systems, serve as Engineer-of-Record, and guide junior team members through all project phases.

You will apply your strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction documentation to size, specify components, and develop construction packages while managing scope, budget, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license are required.
• Experience leading electrical design for water/wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and project document production.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects and components with varying complexity.
• Design, size, select, and specify electrical systems for projects.
• Lead development of design sketches, models, diagrams, and 3D electrical system models.
• Prepare design calculations and construction documents (plans, diagrams, details).
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
