Job summary

Stantec is hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer in the Phoenix area to lead the design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. You will act as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, and guide a team through design, drafting, and construction document preparation.

You will collaborate with clients and contractors, develop cost estimates, and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in electrical engineering for water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer-of-Record for electrical design on water/wastewater projects.
• Develop and specify electrical systems, drawings, and construction documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; lead design reviews and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams through all project phases.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and schedules; support business development.
