Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced Bid/Proposal Manager for North America, with deep UPW and high-purity water experience. You will guide a cross‑functional bid team from RFP qualification through contract handover, aligning strategy with customer requirements.

You will lead end‑to‑end proposal development, facilitate strategy sessions, and ensure timely, compliant submissions while driving continuous improvements and cross‑functional collaboration across Veolia’s water technology groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 8+ years in proposal management, applications engineering, or project management within industrial water treatment, with UPW or high-purity water exposure.
• Experience managing complex, multi‑volume proposals.
• Familiarity with design-build delivery methods.
• Experience identifying and mitigating business risks.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Bid Team including Applications Engineering, Process Design, Sourcing, and Contract Management to align with strategy.
• Own end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning to final submission.
• Facilitate strategy discussions, kick-offs, and regular cadence calls for a competitive approach.
• Develop detailed schedules and assign responsibilities to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Perform thorough compliance reviews against all RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and enhancing proposal quality.
• Structure system solutions with the sales team and bid teams, including pricing and execution models.
• Identify and develop risk mitigation and opportunity strategies across the deal lifecycle.
• Present information during Leadership reviews and support client interactions.
• Foster cross-functional relationships across Veolia’s Projects, Services, and CSM teams.
