Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager for industrial water treatment. You will lead a cross-functional bid team to develop end-to-end proposals from RFP planning through submission, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment across technical and commercial aspects.

The role emphasizes UPW/high-purity water know-how, multi-volume proposals, and collaboration with Sales and leadership reviews. Remote work options across North America are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in proposal management for industrial water treatment.
• Direct experience with Ultrapure Water (UPW) or semiconductor water systems.
• Experience leading multi-volume proposals.
• Familiarity with design-build procurement methods.
• English fluency in written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead a bid team across engineering, sourcing, contracts to align with strategy.
• Manage end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning to submission.
• Facilitate strategy discussions and kickoff meetings.
• Develop schedules and assignments to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement with lessons learned.
• Collaborate with sales on technical and commercial strategy and pricing.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Present information during Leadership reviews.
• Support Sales with client interaction and negotiation.
• Engage stakeholders across Veolia (Projects, Services, CS&M).
• Adjust strategy based on new data/feedback.
