Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking an experienced Bid Manager for industrial water treatment with UPW experience. You will lead bid teams, drive end-to-end proposals, and align technical and commercial strategies with sales to win complex contracts across North America.

The role emphasizes strategy development, risk management, and rigorous compliance. Strong English communication and multi-stakeholder coordination are essential for success in this remote-capable position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of proposal management, applications engineering, or project management in industrial water treatment.
• Direct familiarity with Ultrapure Water (UPW) or high-purity water systems for semiconductor clients.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Bid Team including Application Engineering, Process Design, Sourcing, and Contract Management.
• Own end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning to submission.
• Facilitate strategy sessions, kick-offs and regular rhythm calls for a unified proposal approach.
• Develop detailed schedules and responsibilities to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements.
• Perform compliance reviews of proposal materials to meet all RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by tracking lessons learned and elevating proposal quality.
• Structure system solutions with sales for technical and commercial strategy and pricing.
• Identify risk and opportunity, assist Sales with client interaction and negotiation.
• Build cross-functional relationships across Veolia and monitor progress with leadership reviews.
