Job summary

Veolia Group in North America seeks a bid and proposal leader to guide cross-functional teams in the water treatment space. You will drive end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning to submission in partnership with the sales team.

The role requires 8+ years in proposal management within industrial water treatment and UPW/high-purity systems, with strong English communication. This remote position spans North America and emphasizes risk mitigation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of proposal management, applications engineering, or project management experience in industrial water treatment.
• Direct familiarity with Ultrapure Water (UPW), high-purity water systems, or water systems serving semiconductor / microelectronics clients.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Bid Team including Application Engineering, Process Design, Sourcing, Contract Management to align all elements of the offer with our strategy.
• Lead end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning through final submission.
• Facilitate strategy discussions and kickoff meetings for a unified proposal approach.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules and responsibilities for timely fulfillment.
• Perform compliance reviews of proposal materials against RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by tracking proposals and implementing enhancements.
• Structure system solutions with sales and bid teams to develop technical and commercial strategy.
• Identify and mitigate business risks and develop risk/opportunity strategies.
• Prepare information and present during Leadership reviews; support Sales in client interactions.
• Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Veolia (Projects, Services, CSM).
