Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) seeks a Senior Underwriter to support Management & Professional Lines growth. You will underwrite, price, and market complex D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and Cyber risks, managing a profitable book and developing strong agency partnerships.

You’ll mentor less-experienced staff, collaborate with brokers and internal teams, and contribute to underwriting profitability and growth initiatives across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years underwriting experience.
• Experience managing agency relationships and profitable book of business.
• Professional designations such as RPLU, CPCU, ARM, or AU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management & Underwriting: grow and manage a profitable book across D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber and other LM products.
• Agency & Broker Development: strengthen relationships and drive profitable growth with producers.
• Business Development: execute targeted marketing and identify new opportunities.
• Collaboration & Service: partner with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service.
