Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies seeks a motivated Underwriter to support growth and profitability of the Management and Professional Lines portfolio. Under moderate direction, you will underwrite, market, and manage a profitable book while building strong agency partnerships.

You will work to develop technical underwriting expertise, consult with brokers and internal teams, and grow knowledge of D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and Cyber lines across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of related industry or underwriting experience.
• Experience supporting or managing agency relationships and a profitable book of business is preferred.
• Professional designations such as RPLU, CPCU, ARM, or AU are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management & underwriting for D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber and other Management Liability lines.
• Develop and maintain agency relationships, drives territory growth and ensures profitability.
• Execute targeted marketing plans to attract new business and identify prospective accounts.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, risk management, marketing and product management teams to meet objectives.
