Job summary

PHLY is seeking a Senior Underwriter to support the growth and profitability of the Management and Professional Lines portfolio. The role involves underwriting complex risks, pricing, and developing broker relationships across D&O, EPL, fiduciary, crime, cyber, and other Management Liability products.

The position requires advanced technical underwriting skills, consultative sales, and collaboration with brokers, agents, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience in professional liability/management liability preferred.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and market assigned products within Management Liability portfolio.
• Develop strong agency relationships and drive profitable growth.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate terms, and present proposals to brokers and accounts.
• Mentor less experienced underwriters and advise on complex risk issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
