Under limited direction, this role underwrites, markets, and manages a profitable book of business while developing strong agency relationships with brokers and accounts.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical knowledge of Financial Lines and Management Liability.
• 5+ years of underwriting experience in professional lines.
• Proven ability to manage agency relationships and negotiate with brokers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a profitable book of business across Management Liability products (D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber).
• Gather and analyze information to evaluate risk acceptability and price risks within authority.
• Mentor and train less experienced underwriters and present proposals to producers and accounts.
